Documentation
Bits & Bytes has over a decade's experience creating software User Guides. Having created manuals for Windows, Macintosh, and DOS programs, we are familiar with different computing environments.
Our professionally written manuals are recognized for their logical organization, clear and careful explanations, helpful examples, illustrative screen shots, adherence to the Chicago Manual of Style, and attractive formatting.
Before we write, we learn to use the software we are documenting. Our manuals address the basic needs of first-time users, as well as the more complicated needs of advanced users. We pride ourselves on providing helpful subject indices that facilitate easy access to all major topics.
Because we are knowledgeable in Hebrew and Greek, we are able to use and document programs that use these languages.
Drawing on a team of experts, we can format manuals and provide camera-ready copy using these products: FrameMaker, InDesign, PageMaker, and QuarkExpress. We also are able to provide manuals in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format for inclusion on CD-ROMs and for use as downloadable files.
Bits & Bites is experienced in handling all facets of software documentation from initial design to final film.
